December is my favorite month of the year. I love the festivities, foods, decorations and overall vibe that surrounds Christmas time. In the 7 years or so that I’ve live here in Korea, the level of “holiday cheer” has definitely increased as younger generations continue to embrace western holidays. It’s still quite different from what we experience back stateside, but you still get Christmas trees in the subway, holiday menu items in coffee shops and special events like Christmas markets! This year, the boyfriend and I went a German Christmas Market held at Deutsche Schule Seoul. There were special performances, handmade Christmas decorations for sale and even Santa made an appearance. Most importantly, however… all the German holiday food booths! Despite the massive crowds, we really went to town and made sure to visit EVERY food both. You can watch me pork out in the video below. Enjoy!
Wow!! Where can I get information when would the weihnachmarkt be this year? I tried googling the school but it is all in Deutsch T_T
To be honest I just happened to come across the info on Facebook. Deutsche Schule Seoul International has a Facebook page, so you can keep an eye on that for info on the next weihnachmarkt ^^
