What’s cool about the DDP is that the the entire building was designed to be used as an art space, both inside and out. So twice a year they hold “Seoul Light DDP,” which is digital exhibit that’s projected across the entire surface of the outer wall of the west side of the DDP in a beautiful spectacle of music and color. Spring is a highly anticipated time of year here here in Korea. It’s a time for cherry blossom festivals, picnics with friends, outdoor concerts and all sorts of social gatherings. Obviously these things have all been canceled and it has left everyone in a bit of funk. Needless to say the coronavirus outbreak has seriously … Continue reading →

Bali has a wide variety of food to indulge in. You get everything from traditional Indonesian and Balinese dishes to all sorts of fusion. While we typically try to stick to local cuisine when we travel, we found this to be a bit trickier in Bali. We had never traveled to a country with so … Continue reading →

Traveling with our little fur baby is always a bit tricky because there are so many things to consider. We have to think about the length of the trip and whether or not it would be worth putting him through the trouble of a long flight. We also have to think about where we’re going … Continue reading →

Yeouido Spring Flower Festival – Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival

Posted on April 25, 2019 by Lexi • 4 Comments

After what seemed like an eternal winter (not really complaining), spring has finally returned to Seoul. The first signal is the blooming of cherry blossoms all across the country; something I really look forward to every year. So far, this year has been a bit busy and I was afraid that my most recent trip … Continue reading →

When visiting a Disney park, staying at an official Disneyland hotel may sound like an obvious choice, but there are definitely a few Disney parks where you can easily find cheaper accommodations relatively close to the park. In this case, staying at a Disney hotel turned out to be a bit of a must. There … Continue reading →

After years of talking about it, the hubby and I finally ventured out to China. Of course, we couldn’t take this trip without stopping by Disney’s newest park, Shanghai Disneyland. For the very first time, we decided to spend two glorious days at a Disney park in hopes of experiencing everything it had to offer. … Continue reading →

The evenings are finally cooling down, making it the perfect time to enjoy food and drinks outside! I had an amazing time with @drceuracle_global, just getting to know more about the brand and meeting so many lovely people. I'm always on the look out for new k-beauty skincare especially if it's anti-aging! So I was super excited to receive this lovely package from @drceuracle_global JK's birthday is right around the corner, so you know I had to kick things off with a cup sleeve event at 카페 지금, 여기! I mean... how adorable is this lucky Cooky cookie?! 😆 You guys know how much I love 생활한복 (daily hanbok), but I also love all the accessories inspired by Korean art and culture. A lot of girls come to Korea with the unrealistic expectations of living like the main character of a k-drama. Well I'm living proof that it's possible! Just look at this handsome little 양반 (nobleman). And he's all mine! 😂🐶❤ I'm always on the look out for clean, cruelty free, vegan skin care. This time, Face Republic caught my attention with an invite to their pop-up here in Seoul. Summer always gets me in the mood for fresh fruity flavors and right now I'm obsessed with the orange cream latte at Component Coffee! There are lots of FREE things to do in Seoul other than going to parks, mountains and rivers... you just need to know where to look!
