Mike: So what’s your place?
Lexi: There’s too many.
Mike: You gotta pick one.
Lexi: If I’m gonna pick just one for right now, what’s my next place… I really want to go Taipei. Primarily for the food. The street food scene, I mean… Asian cuisine is just so good. And from everything I’ve seen, it seems like heaven for people who want to eat their way through a city.
I really want to see that place in Taipei that part of Spirited Away is based off. I want to see shrines and ancient places that I can’t see anywhere else. I want to take in the culture. And the nightlife… not clubbing. But I guess that’s eating again.
Lexi: Where do you want to go next? Is it different from mine?
Mike: Honestly, I was gonna say Taipei.
Lexi: Right? We’re in agreement on this. And we can take Uyu (our dog). We can take him and comfortably enjoy the city with him.
Mike: But I have to give a different answer. I would like to think of another spot. Not just Taipei.
Lexi: But why?
Mike: …
Lexi: ???
Mike: Okay. I can’t think of one.
Lexi: We can have the same one for different reasons or the same reasons. I think we’re both set on our next trip.
Mike: Yeah, I think so too.
How close is Tempe from Seoul, Korea.
Tempe, Arizona? Or did autocorrect mangle Taipei?
Darn autocorrect. Taipei.
It’s less than 3 hours by plane which would make it closer than 80% of the trips we’ve made in the past 5 years…
And for the life of us, we don’t know why we haven’t visited yet…
I suppose the world is getting smaller. Enjoy the food in Taipei.
Very unique form of writing. Loved it👌
