A Modern Princess in Korea

A Modern Princess in Korea

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you are all off to a wonderful and fresh start. To kick off 2014 I’d like to share another fashion post with you. When not blanketed in snow, Korea can tend to look a bit gloomy during the winter time. I think that may be the best reason to spruce up your wardrobe and nothing spruces better than sequence and glitter. In fact you can see many women in Seoul wearing sequenced skirts paired with a soft sweater or glittered sweaters with cute knitted skirts. While girls back home usually save all that glitz for their nights about town, girls out here have found ways to make it an everyday look. For this shoot I headed over to 덕수궁 (Deoksugung), one of Seoul’s lovely historical palaces. I thought that the use of modern fashion against a traditional background would make for an interesting concept. The snow really helped tie the soft pinks and whites with the oranges and teals. It was definitely one of the funnest photo shoots, though probably one of the chilliest as well. Close UpSnow & GlitterTwisted TreesJewelry Detail Skirt Detail Boots DetailFull BodyAtmosphere
