Aside from trying to drink more water, I’ve really been zoning in on using skincare products that focus on hydration. In fact, I built my whole K-beauty skincare winter routine around it.
With the seasons changing, so is my skincare routine. I’m slowly changing out my heavier products for lighter ones, which is what makes this Year of the Blue Dragon Skincare Routine so perfect. The products all focus on leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Sur. Medic+ Azulene Soothing PH Cleanser
This is probably one of my favorite daily cleansers! I have super sensitive acne-prone skin, and this formula is incredibly gentle while still leaving my skin feeling thoroughly cleaned and refreshed. The issue I usually have with cleansers is that eventually they start leaving my skin feeling kind of stripped, but this one actually leaves it feeling hydrated and soft. It’s also packed with antioxidants, which helps with anti-aging.
Face Republic Hydro Boost Solution Serum
I’m definitely a fan of Face Republic, as I already have some of their products in my skincare rotation. But what makes this serum interesting is that has 11 types of Hyaluronic Acids, which not only helps with hydration but also reducing fine lines and improving elasticity. The formula itself is pretty thick, but it’s surprisingly lightweight. It also applies really smoothly without leaving my skin feeling sticky.
Vertty Tea Tree Xylitol Water Jet Cream
As the weather continues to warm up, I know I’ll be reaching for this moisturizer more often than not. This moisturizer is actually a cooling cream, meaning that it helps bring the skin’s temperature down in order to help prevent excessive sebum secretion, enlarged pores and wrinkles. The addition of Xylitol also helps to enhance the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid. It also acts as kind of a binding agent to really just seal in the moisture. I was really surprised by how thick and creamy the texture is, but how light it feels on my face.

Beplain Sunmuse Moisture Sunscreen
This is a fantastic sunscreen that will definitely be going on my list of Best Sunscreens. It’s lightweight, non-sticky and leaves no white cast. Pretty much everything you would want in a good sunscreen. But as an added bonus, the formula is so silky it just glides right on and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
