February marks the slow fade of Winter, but don’t be fooled! While the temperatures will be warming up a bit, there will still be plenty of days and nights that dip into the negatives. There are even possible snow days ahead, so be sure to keep those coats handy.
February will start with Seoul Fashion Week and continue on with Lunar New Year events through to the middle of the month. And, thanks to a healthy helping of winter activities, there’s going to be a lot to do as winter slowly warms into spring.

TEMPERATURE
The temperatures in February are going to be 11°C (52°F) at the highest and -7°C (19°F) at the coldest. Thankfully, we shouldn’t be getting as low as January’s -15°C (5°F), but it’ll still be far from warm until at least late-March. And yes, there’s still a strong possibility for the occasional snow day.

If you’re going to be visiting in February, make sure to layer up. Weather tends to be all over the place in February, so you want to wear things you can comfortably layer on and off when needed. Coats and padded jackets are still going to be necessary, though you my find the occasional afternoon that you can go with out them.
