Celebrate Jin Day at HiKR Ground in Korea

HiKR Ground (하이커 그라운드) is the ultimate tribute to Hallyu and the fans who love it. The space opened fairly recently (July 2022) by the Korea Tourism Organization as a unique way to immerse visitors in Korean culture. That means special exhibits and programs as well as photo and studio spaces to recreate some of your favorite K-pop dances.

For the next 3 days, HiKR Ground will be holding a special birthday exhibit for worldwide handsome Kim Seok-Jin of BTS. His fandom and the Korea Tourism Organization have teamed up for the very first time to give fans everywhere 3 floors of super tuna glory. Here’s what to expect.

On the first floor you can find a few special Jin banners, but most importantly a large media wall playing a special celebration video. Honestly I watched it a few times. It’s super cute!

The second floor holds the first of many very thoughtfully made photo zones. There’s also a Permission to Dance set where you can actually recreate and film your own mini music video. But if dancing in front of strangers isn’t your vibe, you can always opt to share a dreamy space themed stage with Jin.

And, as always, the best is saved for last. On the third floor you’ll find a Super Tuna photo zone, which was my personal favorite and a birthday photo zone. There’s also a history wall documenting Jin’s journey to fame (so far), a digital media tower and a photo exhibit of Jin’s most handsome moments. You can also take a picture and and decorate it with a birthday message for Jin, which I thought was a really cute idea.

In addition to the exhibit itself, everyday, the first 100 visitors will receive a special gift and the first 300 visitors will be given the opportunity to purchase a lucky draw ticket (5,000 KRW each) to win some cute Jin themed prizes. While admission to the exhibit is free, the lucky draw isn’t, so be sure to bring cash.
