Seoul is slowly turning into a city defined by pop-ups. It’s not hard to see why, after all, the ever-changing landscape of pop-ups means you can visit the same neighborhood, mall, or shop and have a completely different experience.

That’s why it should come as no surprise that Incheon International Airport has its own pop-ups. And, yes, they are definitely worth visiting. This time around, we were at ICN Terminal 1 checking in for a flight when we came across an Aespa pop-up for their Armageddon album at the SMART PASS ID booth on the 3rd floor.
What is the Aespa Armageddon pop-up?
It’s pretty lightweight as far as pop-ups go. There are some albums, photos, and an outfit from one of the Armageddon music video’s on display. There’s two listening stations and a massive screen that shows Aespa’s music videos on a loop. Aespa’s “Armageddon” album released on May 27th, 2024 but this pop up will be running until the end of September 2024 for everyone interested.

Is there any merch at the Aespa pop-up?
But, of course, no pop-up is complete without merch and goodies. And on that count, the Aespa pop-up doesn’t have anything for sale… but they do have goodies. Visitors to the booth can receive an Aespa sticker and a mini-poster of their choosing. All they need to do is share a track on MELON (which requires you to have MELON) and also make a post on Instagram.

Be warned, like all pop-ups, there is a wait. The line is never more than 15 or 20 people long for the mini-posters, but each person takes about 2 minutes to pick and choose their poster so… expect to wait an hour even if the line is short. And regarding those posters, you get to pick the design yourself. And the designs available? They’re from the Aespa Instagram account so you’re picking photos taken by the girls themselves. Cool, right?

This pop-up is definitely geared towards the more hardcore end of the Aespa fan spectrum. Again, there’s nothing to buy but there are plenty of places to take photos and the free mini-posters you can get for posting on social media.
Where is the Aespa pop-up?
The Aespa pop-up is located on the Departures floor (3rd floor) at Inchon International Airport (ICN) Terminal 1. You’ll find the pop-up near the front of the airport between rows D and E at the front of the airport.

- 인천 중구 공항로 271 (Naver Map)
- 272 Gonghang-ro, Jung-gu, Incheon, South Korea (Google Maps)
If you’re planning on checking out the pop-up when you arrive at the airport (and why wouldn’t you), just go ahead and take the elevators to the 3rd floor. From there, head to check-in counter D and you’ll see the pop-up. You can miss it.
