Things to Do in Korea in April, 2025

April is one of the best months to travel to Korea if you’re looking for cultural experiences. The biggest draw is cherry blossom season in Seoul and Incheon at the beginning of the month, but there are plenty of cultural events, museums and experiences to include in your itinerary.

If you’re visiting Korea in April, it’s important to remember that the weather will be transitioning into spring so nights will still be chilly. Especially in the beginning of the month. But the warmer weather means more fashion choices and the chance to indulge in more K-fashion during your time in Korea.

So without further ado, let’s get into our tips for April in Korea.

TEMPERATURE

April has a wide range of temperatures as we slowly start to transition in to early-summer. Nights will dip as low as 7oC (44.6oF) while the day will wobble between 14oC (57.2oF) to 20oC (68oF) throughout the month.

What to Wear

Springtime in Korea is extremely pleasant. We recommend dressing a bit warmer with light jackets and sweaters in the first half of April while light longsleeves should be more than enough for the second half of the month.

Air Quality in Korea

April is when yellow dust starts to get really bad across the country. Make sure to check the air quality in your weather reports and wear a mask when it gets really bad. Prolonged exposure to bad air quality can cause headaches and queasiness.

EVENTS

Korea House in Seoul is hosting their seasonal Kohojae, a traditional Korean tea set featuring desserts that were served in the palace during the Joseon dynasty. This includes rice cake, a pot of fruit tea, and sweet rice puffs for 25,000 KRW per person. Check out our experience for more information.
