Any time I find myself back in California, I always make time for at least one day at Disneyland. This time around, I had set aside 2 days, but it was so hot I decided to cram 2 days of fun into 1 instead. That being said, I was with the perfect people to do … Continue reading →

Checking out the latest art exhibit is one of our favorite things to do, even more so now if it gets us out of this awful heat. So to kick off the summer, my husband decided to surprise me by taking me to an art exhibit entirely dedicated to ice cream! We didn’t know what … Continue reading →

The Park Front Hotel @ Universal Studios Japan: Everything You Need to Know

Posted on July 5, 2018 by Lexi • Leave a comment

The hubby and I aren’t really ones for staying at expensive hotels. We’re more of a best bang for your buck kind of couple. That being said, we do have certain criteria in mind when choosing a place to say: cleanliness, price, location and amenities. Stuff that I think is pretty common for most travelers. … Continue reading →

How to Spend One Day in Osaka

Osaka is an amazing place to visit. In fact, I’d even go as far as to say that I may like it more than Tokyo. Not to say that I don’t love Tokyo, just that Osaka has a different charm. This wasn’t our first trip to Osaka, and it’s far from our last, but every … Continue reading →

Any time I go anywhere, I always look for unique cafes in the area to check out. So, on our way to the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival, we decided to drop by cafe I had scouted out on Instagram, A Civic Center Coffee or ACCC. The cafe is located on top of a small hill … Continue reading →

My husband and I had been wanting to check out the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival (진해군항제) for a few years now. It’s one of the most popular cherry blossom festivals in Korea, but it’s also a bit of a journey to get there, especially if you live in Seoul. This year, we finally decided to … Continue reading →

We hadn’t planned on it, but we decided to try  Chef Mickey’s breakfast buffet at our hotel, Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. Chef Mickey offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, but since we had an early flight we decided to squeeze in just a bit more of that Disney magic with some breakfast. Breakfast is also the cheapest of … Continue reading →

For our Hong Kong Disneyland vacay, the hubby and I decided on staying at Disney ‘s Hollywood Hotel. Not only did it have an amazing price point, but also a beautiful 1920s Hollywood deco theme. However, this didn’t mean we had no interest in checking out the other hotels. In fact, we decided to make lunch … Continue reading →

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom here in Korea!!! While they get a lot of attention during the day I really love viewing them at night. They somehow look extra magical.
Cherry blossom season in Korea is absolutely breathtaking! I feel like there are more and more cherry blossom trees each year, and personally... I can't get enough!
Spring has finally sprung here in Seoul and I'm all about it! Flower gazing, outdoor coffee dates and even a new fragrance. I'm definitely ready 😆
There's nothing more romantic than cherry blossom season in Korea. There's just something so magical about walking beneath these cotton candy looking trees. When it starts to "rain" cherry blossom petals on a breezy day... it simply takes your breath away!
The daylight is lasting longer, the weather's getting warmer and I'm so ready for some beautiful spring weekends!!!
You guys asked for it, so here it is! Jin's Slightly Spicy Ramen recipe 💜
