Celebrate J-Hope Day in Seoul

For most people, February’s most iconic holiday is Valentines Day. But for BTS ARMY it’s, without a doubt, J-Hope Day! February 18th marks the birthday of our favorite ray of sunshine Hobie. And if you happen to be in Seoul, there are lots of birthday projects and cup sleeve events to check out!

Eat Like BTS at Yoojung Sikdang

Back when they were still trainees in Sinsadong, BTS was known for visiting one restaurant above all others. Fast forward to today and Yoojung Sikdang (유정식당) is one of the most famous hole-in-the-wall restaurants in Seoul. Located just a few blocks away from the old Big Hit Entertainment building, this is where the members of BTS used to frequently eat during their trainee and rookie days, sometimes up to 3 times a day.

Jungkook’s “Golden: The Moments” exhibition is designed to commemorate his journey from debut to the release of his first solo album “GOLDEN” and it does not disappoint. Somehow I found myself once again braving the terrible summer weather this week to get into Jimin’s “MUSE” Smeraldo Garden Pop-Up which was in celebration of the release of his second solo album, “MUSE.”

BTS Monochrome Pop-Up

BTS might be in the military, but their brand sure isn’t. Just this year alone, I’ve been to three birthday events, and two pop-up events. The most recent of which was Monochrome and let me tell you… I’ve never experienced such highs and lows in a single event.
