When it comes to BTS restaurants, Yoojung Sikdang is THE go-to place. It’s where the members of BTS frequently ate eat during their trainee and rookie years, sometimes up to 3 times a day. And the ajumma who used to personally feed the boys whenever they came is still running the place. It definitely belongs on the itinerary of any ARMY, but if you’ve already been or are looking for more, then you need to check out Superstar Tteokbokki.

Wall-to-Wall Bangtan
The interior is wallpapered in BTS posters and pictures. Even the bathroom is covered in all things Bangtan (which I have mixed feelings about). There’s all kinds of merch in every crevice and BTS videos playing on every screen, including the ordering kiosks on every table. You can also find autographs from other celebrities who have dropped by for a bite, including Hobie who recently visited after completing his military service.

My Mom’s Two Favorite Things: BTS & Tteokbokki
The extra ARMY friendly BTS Set is definitely what everyone does and should order when they visit. It comes with a serving of tteokbokki for 2, jumeok-bap (주먹밥), Coolpis and a TON of freebies. And when I say a ton, I mean it. My mom and each got 2 double-sided posters, 7 mini double-sided posters, 2 postcards, 3 photo cards and 2 lenticular photo cards.

On top of that, the food is spectacular and the staff is incredibly friendly. I would recommend this place even if it wasn’t a BTS utopia, but luckily it’s the whole package. So If you’re feeling extra hungry I also suggest trying out some of their side dishes like their fried chicken and fried mandu. So crispy and flavorful, totally worth stuffing your face for.

Where is Superstar Tteokbokki?
Located in the Yongsan district, Superstar Tteokbokki’s just a bus stop away from Shin-Yongsan Station on the number 4 line. While it’s not too far to walk, it’s much easier to take the bus just outside the subway station and make it there much quicker.
It’s also conveniently located a hop skip and a jump away from HYBE. However, it’s such a hidden gem that can be very easy to miss even though it’s hiding in plain sight. This is one of those places made by fans for fans and you feel it as soon as you walk through the narrow BTS poster plastered doors.
