Hong Kong Disneyland holds the distinction of being the smallest Disney park in the world. But ask anyone who’s been there and they’ll tell you: Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the most magical Disney parks in the world. And while the rides are great, the staff is wonderfully kind and helpful and the vibe is magical, not to mention… the food is next level.

Star Wars Stormtrooper Latte from the Main Street Bakery
The Star Wars Stormtrooper Latte is one of our favorite drinks and we ALWAYS get it when we go to Hong Kong Disneyland. It’s just a basic latte, but the white chocolate Stormtrooper that you can stir in to it is what really adds some magic (and sweetness) to this drink. There’s also a hot chocolate that comes with a chocolate Darth Vader pop, if you prefer to go to the dark side.
RATING: Waterboarding has never been so sweet.
Churros and Soft Serve from Jessie’s Sanck Roundup
No Disney visit is complete without churros. Unlike Tokyo Disney, churros aren’t nearly as common in the park, but we were able to get our fix at Jessie’s Snack Roundup stand in Toy Story Land. It wasn’t the best churro we’ve had (Tokyo Disneyland takes that title), but the soft serve churro combo was a good combo.
RATING: Good, but not the best Disney churros money can buy.
Pork Piggy Buns
These buns were available everywhere from the Chef Mickey restaurant to the park itself. Not only are they absolutely adorable, but they pack a lot of flavor too. It might be tempting to ignore these in favor of more lavish Disney themed dishes, but you’d definitely be missing out. These always had us going back for more!
RATING: Solid dumpings that are easy to find in and out of the park.
Disney Character Dumplings and Buns at the Crystal Lotus

The Crystal Lotus in the Disneyland Hotel is THE restaurant to eat at if you’re visiting Hong Kong Disneyland. The Little Green Men Pork and Vegetable Buns were the best by far, but the Golden Minnie Shrimp Dumplings were great (and beautiful) while the Mike Wazowski Shrimp Buns weren’t as great as the rest. Overall, definitely worth the price and extra effort for reservations!
RATING: Hong Kong park exclusives everyone needs to eat.
Mickey’s Seafood Glutinous Pancakes at the Crystal Lotus

Of the many dishes we’ve had at the Crystal Lotus, Mickey’s seafood pancakes were an unexpected delight. They have a crispy texture with a bit of chewiness while being full of flavor. Not to mention the sweet and spicy dipping sauce which brings it all together.
RATING: Unexpectedly delicious and worth ordering seconds.
Mixed Berry & Apple Mickey Waffles from Main Street Market
There’s only one Mickey waffle on the menu at the Main Street Market, but the reality is there are two. One original and one seasonal. We’ve had the apple and mixed berry waffles, but the apple is far superior and a flavor you won’t soon forget. That being said, the mixed berry is by no means bad. Make sure you ask what flavors they have when you visit!
RATING: Apple beats mixed berry. Worth asking for.
Darth Vader Lava Cheese Tart at the Market House Bakery
Any trip to Hong Kong isn’t complete without indulging in some baked tarts. The lava cheese tart is deliciously rich and creamy, worth every penny, not to mention the long wait at the register. It’s totally worth stepping over to the dark side for these.
RATING: Lava + Darth Vader = Cruel, but delicious.
Disney Rings from the Market Street Bakery

These ring pastries are hands down the cutest snacks in the park and come in several different characters. While they might look like donuts, they’re actually less sweet and a bit more on the bready side. Also, the rings are dipped in chocolate and incredibly soft (so delicious).
RATING: Cute and cuter. Worth every bite!
That’s it! Everything we’ve eaten at Hong Kong Disneyland! Is there anything we missed? Did you have any favorites? Do you have any advice for us? Because our ears and our hearts are wide open (in the comments)!
