Christmas Dinners in Seoul

There’s nothing quite like digging into cuts of smoked turkey while the Christmas tree lights sparkle and your family struggles to stay awake after gobbling up plates of mashed potatoes. Except the same with sweet potatoes.

Plenty of Christmas dinners are available all around Seoul and we’ll be listing them right up to the holiday proper. Whether you’re looking for turkey, ham, lamb or something else altogether, we’ve got a list of recommendations just for you.

Ciuri Ciuri

If you’re looking for a Sicilian style Christmas dinner, or just good food really, Ciuri Ciuri has a Christmas dinner menu that is 100% worth the price. This year has a menu with lamp chops in pistachio crust with veggie ratatouille, risotto in white truffle sauce and arancine with cold cuts. We love Ciuri Ciuri (especially their arancine), so we whole-heartedly recommend Ciuri Ciuri. Reservations are 75,000 KRW per person and you can check their Facebook page for details.

Brasserie Seogyo

Christmas lunch and dinner will be served on the 24th and the 25th. Lunch is a 5-course menu at 50,000 KRW while dinner is a 6-course menu for 80,000 KRW. Both come with a grilled beef sirloin steak with chimichuri sauce potato (drool) as the main. They’re nearly full up so if you’re going to make your reservaction, make it quick. • World Cup-ro 12gil 10 (월드컵로12길 10)

Dragon Hill Lodge

The Deli at the Dragon Hill Lodge on the Yongsan US Military base offers 3 different take-home Christmas dinners. The roast tom turkey (serves 6) is 160 USD, 40-oz prime rib (serves 4) is 170 USD, and the 5-lbs lobster (serves 2-3 )is 199 USD. We’re big fans of the turkey ourselves, but we’ve only heard good things about the other meals too. Remember, since the Dragon Hill Lodge is located on the Itaewon US military base, you’ll have to pick up your meal from the visitor’s parking lot. Check their website for more details.

Maison Loup Blanc is taking Christmas lunch and dinner reservations for the 23rd to the 25th. The main course is either Jeju black pork or beef wellington. Reservations are by table only (minimum 4 seats) and can be made on Naver.
