If you somehow survived the original KPop Demon Hunters obsession last year, I regret to inform you that Seoul has decided to bring it back full circle. To celebrate the film’s first anniversary, the official KPop Demon Hunters One Year Anniversary POP-UP has just opened at The Hyundai Seoul, and it’s already becoming one of the busiest fandom events in the city right now.

Celebrate HUNTRIX’s One Year Anniversary
The pop-up celebrates the one-year anniversary of Netflix’s massively successful animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which exploded globally thanks to its music, characters, and wildly addictive soundtrack. The film became such a phenomenon that it even won Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song at the 2026 Oscars.

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s Seongsu pop-up, which reportedly attracted over 60,000 visitors, the anniversary event has now taken over the ICONIC ZONE on B2 at The Hyundai Seoul. And yes… the fandom energy is intense as I already saw fans in full Saja Boys cosplay.

So Much (New Merch) to See and Buy
This is not one of those tiny “three shelves and a poster” situations. The space was definitely designed for the fans with large-scale photo zones, exclusive official merchandise, freebies and the soundtrack playing on repeat. The merch is a mix of lifestyle goods and apparel with some redesigned versions of last year’s sold-out merch and some brand new stuff like the first-ever Huntrix plush dolls. These are definitely going to be THE must-have item as they were already flying off the shelves as soon as I entered.

Another really cool part of this pop-up is the DIY section where you can pick up a bunch of different iron-on patches to customize bags, bag charms, t-shirts, hats, just about anything really. I also noticed a bunch of kids clothes this time around, which is pretty rare for pop-ups in Korea that aren’t exclusively for kids.

And of course what would any pop-up be with out a few freebies. You can get an adorable Derpy balloon just for visiting. These are on a first come basis. You can also get a picket fan if you post a picture on your social media with the appropriate hashtags. And finally you can get a random keyring for every 70,000 KRW you spend in store.

So whether you love Huntrix, the Saja Boys or maybe Derpy and Sussy, there’s a little something for everyone. This pop-up also requires a reservation that you can make through Naver Booking for up to 4 people, so be sure to do that before you drop by.
