Me!

Welcome to our blog! Our names are Lexi, Mike and Uyu. We moved to Korea back in 2009 to build our careers and embark on many new adventures. Here's a bit more about us.

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to our little world traveler! Uyu turns 15 today and we feel so blessed to get to celebrate another year with our sweet boy. So to celebrate, here’s a photo dump of our family trip to Paris. I found an ACTUAL hidden gem in LA. Hidden inside Atelier Pasadena is a small cafe with one of the most unique menus I've come across. The space is relaxing, the people are welcoming and the drinks are not to be missed! After about a month of being in LA, I'm starting to realize how matcha centric it is here. I've had more matcha this month than I have in my entire life! And I think my current favorite matcha is the blueberry matcha from The Palm. Tasty and whimsical 🌈 Right now the Grammy museum in Los Angeles is hosting a special pop-up exhibition dedicated to Selena, one of the most influential Latin artists in music history. This is kind of a once in a lifetime display for fans because many of her personal items are being shown outside of Texas for the first time ever. So you know I had to check it out for myself. Wishing you all a wonderful Lunar New Year from our family to yours. 새해복 많이 받으세요!!! 🐎 Every year I prepare a Lunar New Year feast for my family in Seoul and this year I did it for my family in LA. It’s definitely a lot of work for one person, but always well worth the effort ❤️ February in Seoul vs February in LA. I guess Southern California doesn't believe in winter 😂😭 Who am I? I'm Choi Mina Sue!
