Pokémon World Festival 2017 (포켓몬 월드 페스티벌 2017)

Posted on May 20, 2017 by Lexi • 2 Comments

When I heard there was going to be a Pokémon World Festival here in Korea, I knew I had to check it out! So I grabbed my camera, my boyfriend and made the 2 hr journey over to Incheon’s Triple Street mall. When we arrived, we were greeted by an adorable assembly of Pikachu statutes surrounded … Continue reading →

Pokémon Cosmetics Haul: Gotta Catch ‘Em All

It’s not new news that Pokémon fever has swept the world with the release of the ever popular Pokémon Go game. Sadly, we have been unable to get that (Poké)ball rolling here in South Korea. While that’s getting sorted out, we have been able to keep ourselves temporarily satisfied in other ways, such as visiting the city … Continue reading →

Halloween: Pikachu Twinning with My Dog

Happy Halloween everyone! I’m back with a new Halloween photoshoot. Last year I was a bit busy and had to skip it, but this year I was ready. Last December I got myself a Pikachu onesie when I visited the Pokémon Gym and Pokémon Center in Osaka. A few months later, I just so happened … Continue reading →

Inside Osaka’s Pokémon Gym

Posted on December 29, 2015 by Lexi • 2 Comments

I just recently returned from my first trip to Osaka, which I took with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. While there was a lot we wanted do, we both agreed that the new Pokémon Gym was an absolute must see! The gym is fairly new, having just opened on November 19 at Expo City in northern Osaka. … Continue reading →

Pokemon Champions Day in Seoul: Pikachu Chaos

Posted on November 20, 2014 by Lexi • 2 Comments

This past weekend I attended the Pokemon Champions Day event held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. I had been looking forward to it for quite some time for one big yellow adorable reason… the Pikachu Parade! I have seen photos and videos of this event from when it was held last year in Japan. The sheer … Continue reading →

I've loved afternoon tea ever since I was a little girl and to be honest... I still do! I love all the little sandwiches, mini desserts and the beautiful tea sets. It just always made me feel fancy.
Lunar New Year (설날) was super busy for my family and I this year, so I didn't have much time to post about it.
There are plenty of cheap or even free fun things to do in Korea if you know where to look. For the first time since the pandemic, the ice skating rink in front of City Hall has returned.
I love 설날 traditions, but my favorite is the food. Food is my love language. Even though it's a lot of hard work, preparing this special meal for my family is one way I get to express my love for them ❤
새해복 많이 받으세요!!! Wishing you all a wonderful Lunar New Year from our family to yours 🐰
I love snow days in Korea. There is just something so magical about Seoul covered in a blanket of fresh snow. It's almost like a fairytale.
There are tons of delicious finds when you go to a traditional market in South Korea... but you haven't truly lived until you've had dinosaur roasted marshmallow ice cream.
My husband and I have totally different skin types, but in the winter we both have trouble with dry skin. So, we thought we'd mix things up this winter with a little moisturizing night routine.
BTS's Jungkook is well known for supporting small business and good causes and this is one business was more than happy to purchase from!
