If you’ve spent any time in Korea’s design scene (or just love irresistibly cute characters), you’ve probably come across Muzik Tiger. “Muzik (moo-jik)” means “no job” in Korean, so the whole vibe of this brand is about breaking free from the daily grind and traditional work-life from the perspective of this chonky tiger.
And boy am I here for it.

Now if you take that tiger and insert him into you favorite Korean period drama, that’s kind of what you get at the latest Muzik Tiger pop-up. Tucked inside the labyrinth that is Yongsan iPark Mall, this pop-up feels like stepping into a soft, pastel version of the Muzik Tiger universe, but with a Joseon twist. It’s equal parts café, photo zone, and merch haven, which honestly makes it the perfect low-effort, high-reward stop.

What makes this particular pop-up so unique is that instead of your typical cafe pop-up, this is a 분식당/ bunsik-dang pop-up. So instead of just coffee and dessert, you get to choose from a bunch of popular Korean snacks like tteokbokki, kimchi fried rice and hotteok. And of course each dish comes with its own adorable Muzik Tiger flourishes.

Of course I HAD to order the tteokbokki along with the jjapaghetti and yakgwa ice cream for dessert. To be perfectly honest, I know pop-ups like this are mostly about aesthetics so I wasn’t expecting too much beyond presentation. So imagine my surprise to find the food to be good… like legitimately good! Sure, the dished are priced at a “theme cafe” price point, but the meal was solid and the cuteness just mad my day. Sometimes you just need a daily dose of serotonin you know?

And it wouldn’t be a true pop-up without exclusive merch. And it’s crazy cute! All the merch is Joseon era or Korean culture themed, which basically means adorable tigers in hanbok. They had soju glasses, magnets, stickers, key chains, plushies, you name it. I seriously had to restrain myself and settle on ONE adorable plushie bag charm. Though if I’m being completely honest, I may be back for more.

All in all, this pop-up is the kind of place you drop by for an hour, take great photos, pick up something small (or not so small), and leave feeling like you discovered something fun. It’s quick, cute, and very Seoul. If your Seoul itinerary includes cafés, character brands, or just aesthetic stops, this one is an easy add.
