Me!

Welcome to our blog! Our names are Lexi, Mike and Uyu. We moved to Korea back in 2009 to build our careers and embark on many new adventures. Here's a bit more about us.

The struggle is real 😂 If you like your tea freshly brewed, full of flavor, and refreshing as hell... then I've got you covered. One Tea in Temple City isn't just another boba shop, it's a Taiwanese-inspired specialty tea shop that's serving up some of the best teas I've come across. March 1st is Independence Movement Day (삼일절). And every year Hyochang Park in Seoul is beautifully decorated with taegukgi to celebrate and honor those who fought to liberate the country. My dad promised me the best donuts in LA and he delivered! Monarch Donuts serves up fresh homemade-style donuts for only 4hrs each day. Their apple fritter is unlike any other I've ever tasted. Soft, lighly crisp, golden pieces of heaven 🤤 You can take the girl out of Seoul, but you can't take Seoul out of the girl. Just sharing some of that monochrome hanbok fashion with LA 🖤🩶🤍 I found a SECRET onigiri cart in LA and it was so good I already went back twice! These rice balls are made fresh daily and are actually pretty big. They also come STUFFED with filling. Honestly worth the price. When you know your skincare routine is working 😂 Wishing the happiest of birthdays to our little world traveler! Uyu turns 15 today and we feel so blessed to get to celebrate another year with our sweet boy. So to celebrate, here’s a photo dump of our family trip to Paris. I found an ACTUAL hidden gem in LA. Hidden inside Atelier Pasadena is a small cafe with one of the most unique menus I've come across. The space is relaxing, the people are welcoming and the drinks are not to be missed!
