3CE Style Nanda Pink Space Hotel: Myeongdong Flagship Store

I first visited the StyleNanda flagship store in Myeongdong in 2016. It had just opened and their pink hotel theme was immediately stunning and impressive. It had eclectic Grand Budapest Hotel vibes and was wildly popular. Sadly, this February, both the Pink Pool Cafe and the Pink Hotel closed for construction with an early-April date for reopening.

Well, guess what? It’s back. And… wow. We finally made time to visit the Myeongdong flagship store and while it’s still pink and it’s still a hotel, it’s definitely a new concept. Welcome to the 3CE StyleNanda Pink Space Hotel.

3CE Makeup and Product Showroom

The flagship’s facade is still incredibly pink, but there are a lot of new accents that give it a retro-futuristic look with a color swatch from the 1950’s. And it only gets more extra the second you walk in. The entire 1st floor feels very The Fifth Element (the 90’s movie for anyone not in the know). For anyone who’s visited the original Pink Hotel, it’ll feel like a new skin on the old look. They brought back some accents from the previous design like the wall of hotel keys you might find at a reception desk.

The 1st and 3rd floors are full-on 3CE makeup and beauty supplies with lipstick, cushions, palettes and everything else you could hope for. They are wall-to-wall testers and samples, so you’ll have to ask the staff if you want to purchase anything. If you want a better idea of what colors and palettes suit your skin tone, you might want to head straight to the 3rd floor. There are specialists there to help you find the best colors to match your personal style.

The Alien Garden, Library and Suite Boutique

In between, on the 2nd floor, is an alien garden. No joke. You need to see it to believe it. There are small areas to sit and relax at, but we used it for a photozone. And with the mechanical flowers that open and close, it felt closer to the modern art you’d find at Gentle Monster or Tamburins. There are literally photozones on every floor, but this one is a definite stand-out.

On the 3rd floor sits a full on spaceship control room. With a colorful led screen and makeup inspired control panel, It’s actually really impressive. There’s even a small photo booth where you can take some… well… interesting space AI profile pictures. But one of the biggest draws to this floor would have to be their free personal color make-up service. So definitely be sure to take advantage.

The 4th floor Suite Room has a small, but well-curated selection of clothes. It really nails the boutique-feel with a very limited selection of clothing. Even the changing rooms here are themed. One has a massive LED screen wall while the other one has lighting and mirrors straight out of a 90’s music video.

Space Casino and Cafe

Finally, the 5th floor is the Space Casino which takes the place of the original Pink Pool Cafe. While it might not say “pink” in the name, it is easily the most pink part of the entire building. The cafe features small luck machines you can get “Coins” for by making purchases in the store. There’s also a fully functioning roulette table with 3CE branded chips you can play with. The drinks are, likewise, incredibly pink with themed drinks and snacks. We went for the Strawberry Tiramisu and a Red Velvet Trish. The tiramisu tasted more like a strawberry shortcake which wasn’t a bad thing! And the Red Velvet Trish might not come with caffeine, but it tasted just find with a shot of espresso added in.

All-in-all, the Pink Space Hotel is an experience. The crazy space globe on the first floor and the LED-screen spaceship bridge on the 3rd floor made this feel less like a store and more like a photozone pop-up. It hasn’t quite blown up on TikTok, but once it does I’ll be expecting massive crowds on every floor.

Where is the 3CE Pink Space Hotel?

The 3CE StyleNanda Pink Space Hotel is the Myeongdong flagship store and it’s located a quick 5-minute walk from Myeongdong Station on the line #4 or a 10-minute walk from Euljiro-1ga on line #2.
