Red, Brown & Fur

Walking through the park on a lovely autumn day with my adorable maltese is one of those little things that brings me great joy. Of course in Seoul, even a simple outing at the park is a reason to dress to impress. Fashion can be found on all passerby’s. From couples on dates to friends having a picnic, even furry canine companions can be found … Continue reading Red, Brown & Fur

I LOVE the holiday season! I love wearing cozy sweaters, building snowmen, putting up a tree and baking cookies! So when I heard about these gingerbread man milktea bottles... I just HAD to get my hands on one! Yesterday we celebrated @songdraws birthday with a good old fashioned American Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey isn't particularly popular in Korea, so it's not always easy to come across. As the population continues to decline here in Korea, there are more and more families that are starting to look ours. The term DINKWAD has been floating around lately... Double Income No Kids With A Dog. Every year The Hyundai Seoul creates a beautiful Christmas Village right inside the mall. This year it's a magical French inspired Christmas Village. There are plenty of photo zones and cute little shops that sell Christmas ornaments, cards, teddy bears and even French jams and chocolates. Whenever I'm not wearing hanbok, I love adding Korean flourishes or accents to my outfits. This butterfly norigae clip is such a pretty accent piece and a subtle way to add a bit Korean culture to my look... I'm completely obsessed! Autumn is slipping away and winter is fast approaching, so be sure to enjoy the last of that beautiful autumn foliage! And don't forget to take advantage of cafes and restaurants with rooftop and patio seating for maximum leaf peeping 😆🍂 곱창 (gobchang) is the small intestines of a pig or cow typically eaten fried or grilled. Now it may not sound too appetizing for some, but it's actually one of my favorite dishes! Black is not a common color you see when it comes to hanbok unless it's for a funeral. But with daily hanbok rising in popularity, black fabrics are also becoming more sought after! This year we decided to have a low-key Halloween, so we took our little dude pumpkin carving!
