Late-night media art shows are the newest wide-spread event here in Seoul. It all started with the Banpo Rainbow Bridge and has now spread to most corners of Seoul. So, whether you’re looking to take in the sights or just rest your feet with a view, here are the most popular light shows to see in Seoul.
Seoul Light DDP is back with it’s summer festivities. Every night for 11 days, the DDP will feature light shows and multimedia exhibits for anyone to enjoy. Best of all, it’s free.
One our favorite spots along the Cheonggyecheon this time of year is hidden beneath Gwanggyo Bridge where you can enjoy ‘Cheonggye Soul Ocean,’ a special media art exhibition that uses six projectors to display gorgeous visuals across 40 meters of the water’s surface. From whales swimming between your feet to Monet’s floral masterpieces floating down the stream, it’s an incredibly soothing way to unwind, especially after a long busy day or week.
