How To: Hong Kong Disneyland 2020

Let’s be honest, the Coronavirus pandemic has left the world much changed. It’s crazy to think that I started 2020 in Hong Kong with my husband, mother and sister and actually rang in the new year at Hong Kong Disneyland. Then about a month later, borders started to close as COVID-19 swept the globe. People … Continue reading →

Chef Mickey Breakfast Buffet @ Disney’s Hollywood Hotel

We hadn’t planned on it, but we decided to try  Chef Mickey’s breakfast buffet at our hotel, Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. Chef Mickey offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, but since we had an early flight we decided to squeeze in just a bit more of that Disney magic with some breakfast. Breakfast is also the cheapest of … Continue reading →

For our Hong Kong Disneyland vacay, the hubby and I decided on staying at Disney ‘s Hollywood Hotel. Not only did it have an amazing price point, but also a beautiful 1920s Hollywood deco theme. However, this didn’t mean we had no interest in checking out the other hotels. In fact, we decided to make lunch … Continue reading →

How To: Hong Kong Disneyland 2018

Unlike most of our trips, our trip to Hong Kong was short (but sweet) with Hong Kong Disneyland being our primary reason for visiting. Researching this trip wasn’t as easy as I though it was going to be. Surprisingly, there isn’t a whole lot of current info on the park in English and the stuff … Continue reading →

Inside Hong Kong Disney’s Hollywood Hotel

I’m married!!! While the wedding was wonderful, I think what newlyweds really look forward to most is the honeymoon. Unfortunately, since we technically had a “destination wedding” (back home in California), money is a bit tight and we used up all our vacation days. Nonetheless, we were determined to have some sort of a (MUCH … Continue reading →

I love cooking at home! Korean dishes are actually quite easy to make, but they usually tend to be pretty time consuming. However, this is a pretty quick and easy 김치찌개 (kimchi jjigae) recipe imho. So, if you ever find yourself with a bunch of kimchi on your hands... give it a try! ☺
I've loved afternoon tea ever since I was a little girl and to be honest... I still do! I love all the little sandwiches, mini desserts and the beautiful tea sets. It just always made me feel fancy.
Lunar New Year (설날) was super busy for my family and I this year, so I didn't have much time to post about it.
There are plenty of cheap or even free fun things to do in Korea if you know where to look. For the first time since the pandemic, the ice skating rink in front of City Hall has returned.
I love 설날 traditions, but my favorite is the food. Food is my love language. Even though it's a lot of hard work, preparing this special meal for my family is one way I get to express my love for them ❤
새해복 많이 받으세요!!! Wishing you all a wonderful Lunar New Year from our family to yours 🐰
I love snow days in Korea. There is just something so magical about Seoul covered in a blanket of fresh snow. It's almost like a fairytale.
There are tons of delicious finds when you go to a traditional market in South Korea... but you haven't truly lived until you've had dinosaur roasted marshmallow ice cream.
My husband and I have totally different skin types, but in the winter we both have trouble with dry skin. So, we thought we'd mix things up this winter with a little moisturizing night routine.
