Tofu Artistry: Vegan Korean Cooking Class in Seoul

June 22, 2024June 22, 2024

There’s an other side to Seoul that can be easily missed if you don’t know what to look for. That’s the side with tea ceremonies, museum exhibitions, and, for those with culinary inclinations, cooking classes.

Me!

Welcome to our blog! Our names are Lexi, Mike and Uyu. We moved to Korea back in 2009 to build our careers and embark on many new adventures. Here's a bit more about us.

You can take the girl out of Seoul, but you can't take Seoul out of the girl. Just sharing some of that monochrome hanbok fashion with LA ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿฉถ๐Ÿค I found a SECRET onigiri cart in LA and it was so good I already went back twice! These rice balls are made fresh daily and are actually pretty big. They also come STUFFED with filling. Honestly worth the price. When you know your skincare routine is working ๐Ÿ˜‚ Wishing the happiest of birthdays to our little world traveler! Uyu turns 15 today and we feel so blessed to get to celebrate another year with our sweet boy. So to celebrate, hereโ€™s a photo dump of our family trip to Paris. I found an ACTUAL hidden gem in LA. Hidden inside Atelier Pasadena is a small cafe with one of the most unique menus I've come across. The space is relaxing, the people are welcoming and the drinks are not to be missed! After about a month of being in LA, I'm starting to realize how matcha centric it is here. I've had more matcha this month than I have in my entire life! And I think my current favorite matcha is the blueberry matcha from The Palm. Tasty and whimsical ๐ŸŒˆ Right now the Grammy museum in Los Angeles is hosting a special pop-up exhibition dedicated to Selena, one of the most influential Latin artists in music history. This is kind of a once in a lifetime display for fans because many of her personal items are being shown outside of Texas for the first time ever. So you know I had to check it out for myself.
