Korea Road Trip Day 3: Ocean Lattes, Fish Markets & Lighthouses

Posted on June 20, 2017 by Lexi • 9 Comments

Day 3 of our trip started early and with purpose. The rest of our trip had been a mis-mash of what we wanted to do and what we had time to do. Our first day was marred by traffic and our second by a late start but it was day 3. We’d learned from our … Continue reading →

Korea Road Trip Day 2: Mountains, Beaches & Penis Rest Stops (NSFW)

Posted on May 31, 2017 by Lexi • 2 Comments

After a lovely day on Nami Island, we hit the road the next morning and headed for Sokcho on the east coast of Korea for some much anticipated beach time. Having spent a good amount of time in traffic the previous day, we were determined to beat the odds by leaving earlier and searching for … Continue reading →

Korea Road Trip Day 1: Nami Island (남이섬)

Posted on May 25, 2017 by Lexi • 2 Comments

For the first time in a very long time, my boyfriend and I actually had the same consecutive days off. So we decided to grab our pup, Uyu, and hit the road on our first ever Korea road trip. Our first stop was Nami Island. We had such a great time with Uyu when we went … Continue reading →

Homemade Eclairs @ In. D. Alley (인디앨리)

An eclair isn’t a dessert I frequently crave or even think about for that matter. I guess it takes the right kind of place to make you want something you’ve never wanted before. In. D. Alley is that kind of place for me. When In. D. Alley first opened its doors their primary focus was … Continue reading →

A Doggie Birthday in Seoul: Happy Pang Pang (해피팡팡)

Posted on March 9, 2017 by Lexi • 6 Comments

For a while now I’ve been wanting to celebrate my pup’s birthday with a proper doggie cake for his birthday. Last year we were able to find a salmon muffin at a pet store in the Express Bus Terminal (고속터미널). He enjoyed it quite a bit and it lasted him about a week. While it was a … Continue reading →

Ayurveda “Green” Dog Bath

Posted on February 10, 2017 by Lexi • 2 Comments

It’s no secret that I pamper (some would say spoil) my dog. To me he’s not just a dog, he’s family, my baby. I raise him, feed him, clothe him and put a roof over his head. We go shopping together and even frequent cafes. If you ever have the pleasure of making his acquaintance, you’ll … Continue reading →

The Best Airline Approved Dog Carrier!

Posted on February 1, 2017 by Lexi • 5 Comments

About a year ago we had to go to India for 2 weeks to attend a close friend’s wedding. It was the longest trip abroad we’d ever taken and also the most time our dog has ever spent away from us. When we came back, his face was massively tear stained and his eyes were completely bloodshot. … Continue reading →

A Day at Disneyland: Doggie Daycare, Good Eats & Holiday Magic

Less than 24 hours after arriving in California, we found ourselves whisked away to Anaheim to enjoy a day of magic and whimsy at Disneyland. Disneyland Kennel Club Initially, we were most worried about where to board our pup while we visited the parks. We wanted to keep him as close as possible in case … Continue reading →

Falling for Fall: Nami Island (남이섬)

My boyfriend and I have wanted to explore more of Korea with our pup, but it was always a little difficult without a car. When my boyfriend decided to get his Korean drivers license it opened new doors for us and we took our first family trip to Jeju Island this past summer. Now that it’s … Continue reading →

Halloween: Pikachu Twinning with My Dog

Posted on October 31, 2016 by Lexi • Leave a comment

Happy Halloween everyone! I’m back with a new Halloween photoshoot. Last year I was a bit busy and had to skip it, but this year I was ready. Last December I got myself a Pikachu onesie when I visited the Pokémon Gym and Pokémon Center in Osaka. A few months later, I just so happened … Continue reading →

I've loved afternoon tea ever since I was a little girl and to be honest... I still do! I love all the little sandwiches, mini desserts and the beautiful tea sets. It just always made me feel fancy.
Lunar New Year (설날) was super busy for my family and I this year, so I didn't have much time to post about it.
There are plenty of cheap or even free fun things to do in Korea if you know where to look. For the first time since the pandemic, the ice skating rink in front of City Hall has returned.
I love 설날 traditions, but my favorite is the food. Food is my love language. Even though it's a lot of hard work, preparing this special meal for my family is one way I get to express my love for them ❤
새해복 많이 받으세요!!! Wishing you all a wonderful Lunar New Year from our family to yours 🐰
I love snow days in Korea. There is just something so magical about Seoul covered in a blanket of fresh snow. It's almost like a fairytale.
There are tons of delicious finds when you go to a traditional market in South Korea... but you haven't truly lived until you've had dinosaur roasted marshmallow ice cream.
My husband and I have totally different skin types, but in the winter we both have trouble with dry skin. So, we thought we'd mix things up this winter with a little moisturizing night routine.
BTS's Jungkook is well known for supporting small business and good causes and this is one business was more than happy to purchase from!
