The Park Front Hotel @ Universal Studios Japan: Everything You Need to Know

Posted on July 5, 2018 by Lexi • Leave a comment

The hubby and I aren’t really ones for staying at expensive hotels. We’re more of a best bang for your buck kind of couple. That being said, we do have certain criteria in mind when choosing a place to say: cleanliness, price, location and amenities. Stuff that I think is pretty common for most travelers. … Continue reading →

Our latest trip to Universal Studios Japan was a bit of a spontaneous decision. When we heard about their “Cool Japan” event, we knew we couldn’t miss it! Cool Japan 2018 had special rides, shows and merch from Sailor Moon, Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter & Detective Conan which will only be at the park for … Continue reading →

How to Spend One Day in Osaka

Posted on May 31, 2018 by Lexi • 1 Comment

Osaka is an amazing place to visit. In fact, I’d even go as far as to say that I may like it more than Tokyo. Not to say that I don’t love Tokyo, just that Osaka has a different charm. This wasn’t our first trip to Osaka, and it’s far from our last, but every … Continue reading →

My constant need to be in the company of animals always seems to take me to the most interesting places. From dogs and cats to owls and meerkats, I just can’t seem to get enough. This time around, I found myself in Osaka surrounded by some adorable new feathery friends. Kotori Cafe is a cute … Continue reading →

Gudetama Cafe (ぐでたまかふぇ)

I love theme cafes! They’re unique, fun and the food is always beyond cute. For my birthday, my boyfriend and I had lunch at the Gudetama Cafe in Osaka! Originally it was meant to be a temporary pop-up, but it had gained so much popularity that they completely renovated the space and made it a permanent … Continue reading →

Takoyaki Museum (大阪たこ焼きミュージアム)

After a long day at Universal Studios Japan and exploring the wonders of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter the boyfriend and I were absolutely famished. So we decided to explore Universal City Walk. Takoyaki (fried octopus balls) are one of Osaka’s specialties and I had head that the ones at the Takoyaki Museum were not to … Continue reading →

USJ: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! This is where a real adult goes to celebrate her birthday, at least that’s what I tell myself. Last month I went to Universal Studios Japan with the boyfriend, and even though we’ve been to the one in California, it was still a lot of fun and actually quite … Continue reading →

USJ: Universal Studios Japan

Last month, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Osaka to celebrate my birthday. It was our first time going to Osaka, but we both knew a trip to Universal Studios had to be made. Coming from L.A., Universal Studios wasn’t a new thing for us. However, the one in Osaka has something the … Continue reading →

Sweet Potato Bliss @ Rapoppo (らぽっぽ )

When I was in Osaka, it was by chance that I happened to come across a fantastic little bakery that specialises in sweet potato-based pastries. My boyfriend and I were transferring subway lines at Osaka Station when I got wind of a sweet and familiar aroma wafting through the station. Sweet potato! I was able to … Continue reading →

Inside Osaka’s Pokémon Gym

I just recently returned from my first trip to Osaka, which I took with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. While there was a lot we wanted do, we both agreed that the new Pokémon Gym was an absolute must see! The gym is fairly new, having just opened on November 19 at Expo City in northern Osaka. … Continue reading →

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom here in Korea!!! While they get a lot of attention during the day I really love viewing them at night. They somehow look extra magical.
Cherry blossom season in Korea is absolutely breathtaking! I feel like there are more and more cherry blossom trees each year, and personally... I can't get enough!
Spring has finally sprung here in Seoul and I'm all about it! Flower gazing, outdoor coffee dates and even a new fragrance. I'm definitely ready 😆
There's nothing more romantic than cherry blossom season in Korea. There's just something so magical about walking beneath these cotton candy looking trees. When it starts to "rain" cherry blossom petals on a breezy day... it simply takes your breath away!
The daylight is lasting longer, the weather's getting warmer and I'm so ready for some beautiful spring weekends!!!
You guys asked for it, so here it is! Jin's Slightly Spicy Ramen recipe 💜
I found BT21 Jin Ramen Purple Edition! Unfortunately it didn't come with any cute freebies but you can post on sns to win prizes.
Some sassy words from our coffee loving sassy boy @glassofuyu 😂
