So, you’re in Korea and being in a new country the first thing you want to do is dig into some of the mouthwatering local cuisine. Q&A: Café Chat

Okay. So now that I’ve gone on and on about different cafés (and will probably continue doing so), let’s brush up on some Korean. Here are some helpful phrases to use at a café. If you need extra help or have any questions, please feel free to ask.   Q: 뭐 드릴까요? (mwuh duh-ril-gga-yo) What would you like?               … Continue reading Q&A: Café Chat

Q&A: Hospital or Pharmacy Visits

It’s never fun being sick and it’s even worse when you can’t communicate with your doctor, so here’s just a little basic helpful Korean for when you need to visit a doctor or go to a pharmacy. Q: 어디가 아프십니까?                                (uh-di-ga ap-eu-sim-ni-kka)                 … Continue reading Q&A: Hospital or Pharmacy Visits

Me!Welcome to our blog! Our names are Lexi, Mike and Uyu. We moved to Korea back in 2009 to build our careers and embark on many new adventures. Here's a bit more about us!

I absolutely love breakfast, but it's probably the meal I skip most often. I'm not really an early morning person, so I guess that's why I love brunch so much... I get the best of both worlds 😅 Coffee dates with @glassofuyu The evenings are finally cooling down, making it the perfect time to enjoy food and drinks outside! I had an amazing time with @drceuracle_global, just getting to know more about the brand and meeting so many lovely people. I'm always on the look out for new k-beauty skincare especially if it's anti-aging! So I was super excited to receive this lovely package from @drceuracle_global JK's birthday is right around the corner, so you know I had to kick things off with a cup sleeve event at 카페 지금, 여기! I mean... how adorable is this lucky Cooky cookie?! 😆 You guys know how much I love 생활한복 (daily hanbok), but I also love all the accessories inspired by Korean art and culture. A lot of girls come to Korea with the unrealistic expectations of living like the main character of a k-drama. Well I'm living proof that it's possible! Just look at this handsome little 양반 (nobleman). And he's all mine! 😂🐶❤ I'm always on the look out for clean, cruelty free, vegan skin care. This time, Face Republic caught my attention with an invite to their pop-up here in Seoul.
