Checking out the latest art exhibit is one of our favorite things to do, even more so now if it gets us out of this awful heat. So to kick off the summer, my husband decided to surprise me by taking me to an art exhibit entirely dedicated to ice cream!
We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived, but what we got was every Instagrammer’s fantasy. The exhibit consists of 11 different ice cream inspired zones. And by zones, I mean photo zones. The entire exhibit is designed for taking adorably colorful ice cream themed pictures! It wasn’t quite what my husband was hoping for, but I was totally hooked!
The walk through doesn’t take very long to get through, so we had a lot of fun messing around and trying to get a couple of unique shots. Some of my favorite spots were the Hair Shop, Bingle Bangle (an adorable ice cream unicorn carousel) and the Ice Cream Ballpool. I’m not gonna lie, I think I spent a third of our time in that ball pit.
Once we were done taking pictures, we were given some free ice cream and got to try our hand at a claw machine for a chance to win some prizes. Since it was almost closing time, we got to keep trying until we got something. I ended up with a bag of gummy fish and the hubby got an ice cream toothbrush… which is now my ice cream toothbrush.
There’s really not much I can say about this exhibit that isn’t better explained by the pictures. All I can say is that it was a lot more fun than we had anticipated and definitely worth checking out if you love ice cream… and selfies. There’s still a few more days left for this exhibit, so why not top off your summer with a this cool exhibit?!
